without implying there's anything wrong with them... what's the big deal about the secrecy of all those Obama records? It doesn't bother any of you Obama supporters that he thinks he's special enough to not have to release records that all of the recent presidents have released?

It's just weird that as often as you hear about how bad McCain did in college, you never hear "... and Obama was ranked ___ out of ____ " to further drive home the point of how much smarter he is or whatever. I'm just surprised that Obama supporters aren't interested as much as McCain supporters. And as a McCain supporter, I think this is an example of how smug he is, like "I don't have to show anybody anything." I mean, with all the questions about McCain's health, he let people go through over a thousand pages of his health records. For somebody who doesn't have the most experience ever for a presidential candidate, you think he'd want to let everybody learn everything about him from what he actually HAS done. Again, I'm not saying there are secret communist anti-American documents in his college records, I just think it's weird that the media & supporters (and even McCain hasn't made a big deal about it) aren't demanding to see everything.

I'm not sure why anybody who believed this is automatically a "wingnut." I mean, when I first saw the story, it seemed believable to me. It was reported on the news and crazy shit like this actually does happen from time to time. Why should anybody automatically not believe what's being reported in the news? Should any person who claims they're a victim be ignored until background checks and polygraph tests prove they were actually a victim?


Any person or media organization that made a big deal about it should come out and apologize for their reactions and acknowledge their mistake and move on from there, it's not their fault that this girl is a psycho.

It's called having skepticism and a little bit of common sense. This story reeked of a hoax from the start, and that picture of the neatly-scratched backwards 'B' sealed it.

When I used the word "wingnuts" I was talking about the blogs, website, FOX news, Drudge, all of that...I wasn't referring to 'anyone who believed the story'. Some of the shit they were peddling like 'OMG ITZ A GAMECHANGER' was sick.

At first I believed the story myself honsetly until I saw her 'bruised' eye was not swollen at all and it looked like a painted-on shiner...the shape of it was the exact same as her other eye. Between that and the butter knife backwards 'B' just seemed ridiculous.

It's race baiting of the highest order, she sucks, and she's only doing her campaign disservice because now running Wright ads really does highlight racial politics at this point.
