anybody have a ps2 model scph-39001? i've been having disc read errors every now and then. like when the system needs to read the disc to load areas as i'm driving across the city the drive will make funny noises and the music will begin to skip and the areas will not load correctly and eventually cause the system to crash and give a disc read error. however if i catch it quick, i can pause the game and it will stop. from a quick search on some forums, i've heard that the 39001 model specifically (and possibly the 30001) is having this problem about loading areas correctly and stuff. just wondering if anybody else has had this issue.

Yea I tried that method and went broke

a way I did it, is to get madd loot, then save the game


then go to the race, bet on the 1/12

if it wins, save the game

if it loses, load the previous save


repeat
