Don't confuse the credits with IMDB. If he was in the credits then he will be on imdb. If he wasn't in the credits then (eventually) he will be still listed on imdb, but it will say (uncredited) next to his name. It makes no difference if the scenes were filmed for Spiderman 3 or if they were put together from old scenes.

sometimes iMDB will not credit someone if they feel it might ruin something for those that havent seen it

for example, Kevin Spacey isn't listed in Se7en's page, at least not near the top

I had vaguely remembered there being some blonde chick from school as a potential love interest, peter dressing more sharply, and the bell tower scene. So I’m glad they kept all that, and that they kept venom as something otherworldly rather than doing something like the ultimate version where I think its just a science project gone wrong? Either way, what I’m really looking forward to is Dr Connors becoming the lizard man. They’ve built his character up for a while, and now that he’s analyzed the symbiote sample like he was supposed to, they don’t really need to save him as scientist resource for parker any more.

^ I agree, I like how they have handled Dr. Conner's so far. Even if he doesn't become a super villain it is cool to see a character like that be apart of the story from the beginning to help to a slow build up what we know he will become. In some of the scenes you could see lizard figurines in Dr. Conner's lab or classroom.

^ Zombie movies (Evil Dead, Army of Darkness) is how I know him

Either way, I wasn't impressed with the movie. I kept waiting on Parker to grab some eyeliner and the latest Dashboard Confessional cd before getting his act together to save the city.

Am I the only one who wanted Pete to keep the suit? Emo Peter might've had its cheesy moments, but it was nice seeing him as a bad-ass for a change.

"Spider-Man hits to go 'on and on'

Spider-Man will return for at least three more movies, its studio has said after the super-hero's third film broke North American box office records.

Sony Pictures chief executive Michael Lynton told the BBC: "Everybody has every intention of making a fourth, a fifth and a sixth and on and on."

There would be "as many as we can make good stories for", he pledged.

Spider-Man 3 is now the most successful new release in history, making $148m (£74m) in its opening weekend.

That beat the previous best of $136m (£68m) set by Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest last year.

these new movie need to reinvent the franchise like Chris Nolan is doing with Batman. Spiderman movies are just too goofy.

This actually happens in Spiderman 3 the Video Game. I wonder how that will or won't affect the possibility of this happening in a future movie.

Negative. I believe that the movies aren't goofy enough. Spider-Man is supposed to spit out cheesy phrases as he fights, but they have never once done that.

Just saw it at IMAX last night. IMAX was great for the action scenes, but really unnecessary because this movie had WAY too much drama and awkwardly gay scenes. I got the impression that they were trying to pander to a more female audience by focusing so much on the love triangles and all the goddamn tears at the end of the movie.

This movie will do alot to kill the spiderman pandemonium of recent years.... I bet no matter how good #4 is, it wont intially sell like #3 has because most ppl will not be able to forget how terrible this one was.

""Was it my imagination, or was that William Dafoe sitting behind Peter and Gwen in the Jazz Club?""

Definitely looked like him, but the guy was much younger than Willem Dafoe. IMAX let me see his face very clearly after I saw that post yesterday....

I have boxes of Spiderman comics and didn't like this movie. It made X3 seem like the Godfather.

It could have been much better, just cut out emo-Spidey for like 20 minutes. The Stayin' Alive montage in the middle and tap-dancing Spidey needed to go to. I literally cringed in the theater. It was a billion ties worse than the awful dialog in the hospital in the first one.

I give it a 2 out of 5, easily the weakest of the trilogy.

While I respect that opinion, let me submit the fact that:

- No "jazz-hands"/tap dancing mutants in X3
- They both threw in to many supplemental characters with their own storylines that no one cared about... so that cancels out
- X3 narrowly avoided the high school romance crap.

X3 wasn't great, but I didn't leave the theater disgusted with it. Maybe it's because I grew up a fan of Spiderman, but didn't really read much X-men.

well I'm just gonna give my opinion,

the very beginning was just too fast with all this crazy shit happening but even though about 2/3rds in the movie I was gonna give it major props: the sandman creation was really artistic, the revenge angle was working well, harry was an interesting character, the only problem was what they were doing with MJ

unfortunetly after the point where parker went emo, the movie went to shit and what can you say about the last thirty minutes that hasn't already been said, the whole venom angle was way underdeveloped and just thrown in at the end

I was one of the folks pushing for venom but I got to say the fanboys pushing for venom pretty much ruined this movie, they should have just saved venom for the last movie and just had the black suit, in fact thats what I thought the whole problem with the movie was, it was like two huge blockbuster action flicks pushed in to one, they should have just focused on parker having the relationship/media/revenge issues and taking a dark turn against sandman

also tobey disapointed me with his acting
