I've been preaching BC was overrated for 1.5 years now. There is a reason they started 20-0 last year. They had the easiest schedule of any team in the Big East. While UConn, Pitt, Syracuse, Notre Dame, and Villanova were beating each other up each twice last year Boston College only had to play the 'Big 5 teams' once. They were overrated and got blown out in the first round of the conference tourney and the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney.

I saw this coming from a mile away. Dudley and Smith are 'small' time game players. They got ALL their stats against SHITTY ass teams. They NEVER show up in big games.

Oh and the arena is damn nice..... for college hockey

no way. BC just sucked. of course we will look awesome if the other team doesn't do shit defensively. Imagine if they had actually tied to pressure the ball -- we would turn that shit over like at unc. good thing we rebounded well and kept simmons in the second half.

They also didnt run an offense.

we have huge weaknesses, no doubt. BC is jsut a crappily coached team. As i said -- you can't take a lot from this game. This doesn't prepare us for a duke, or a tourney team, or any team that decides they want to win.

This is a great rebound from last saturday. Play and control the tempo, be patient and unselfish and you can win. Try to outrun the other team and play one-on-one and you get schooled. Glad Herb got to their heads and made them think a little.

you can fool yourself into thinking we played well, though. This that happened here that will not happen against a good team:

1. we rebound
2. simmons stays in the game
3. we dont get punished for turning the ball over
4. we get a thousand free looks at the basket

Oh I didn't mean to insinuate that. I mean I knew that BC was overrated (just like they were last year as I said on MANY occasions) but that doesn't take ANYTHING away from this win.

Anytime you record a road win in the ACC against a ranked team (regardless if they deserve it or not) it is HUGE. Good job by the team!

I think he's quite set in his role. I mean he does lead* the league in 3pt %, 3rd in assists, and 3rd in A/TO ratio. He's as dependable as anyone in the league, just does it quietly. Heck, tonight he had 13 points (5-8, 3-4), 6 rebounds, and 5 assists with just 1 turnover and 1 foul... stellar line.

* - There are actually two guys ahead of Atsur but they are bench pakyers who have attempted less than half as many shots. Atsur is at 48% on the year.
