he's had enough injuries to be in his mid 30s, i'll give you that. i think thats been his problem so far this season, at least partly. he got right out of the gate with a head and neck injury, and he seems to get dinged up every game. to top it off, with okafor back on D, his role there is diminished, and with morrison on offense, his role there is diminished, so i think he's suffering in that way too. 11/14/2006 10:46:28 PM |

if Okafor keeps putting up 25, 16 and 4 every night someone please convince me why he won't be an All Star this season
he's putting up just as good or better numbers as Howard, Big Ben, etc 11/15/2006 10:09:39 AM |

i didnt want to jinx it, but it looks like they'll be able to hold on.
95-89 over the spurs with 15.1 seconds left in OT
morrison has had a solid game, 27 pts i think. okafor hasnt has as good of a game as he's been havin, but still solid. 19 pts, 9 boards, 4 blocks....still 15 seconds left, so maybe he can get that double double.
k just went final...95-92 on a meaningless 3 by parker at the buzzer.

I was just about to post this. Morrison played really good. 27 points.
2-6 on the year now, but that is a huge win at SA.
Felton is still not playing like he did at the end of last year. 11/15/2006 10:41:08 PM |

when bickerstaff finally makes a good lineup and has felton at pg with knight at backup pg, felton will start gettin into a rhythm. hopefully he doesnt screw around with this lineup too much longer. 11/15/2006 10:43:35 PM |

good win over the Nets last night
Morrison is playing his ass off, 22 pts 5 assists 4 rebounds 1 turnover
last nights most surprising box score line,
Sean May: 25 minutes, 8-12 FGM-A, 20 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 block
they need to keep getting good minutes like that from him off of the bench
and with Primoz back, BK is starting at PG and felton is coming in off the bench 11/29/2006 10:24:32 AM |

it was the win vs detroit in the last game of the first season that screwed up our odds at a higher draft pick and the possibility of gettin chris paul instead of felton. i like felton all right, but paul is the better pg at this point. 12/3/2006 8:31:12 PM |

I got near courtside seats to the game vs. the Suns on Sunday night. I'm excited because of the possibility of seeing a very high scoring game. Plus, the Bobcats are 2-0 when I go to see them, so anything can happen. 12/4/2006 1:35:23 PM |

Spurs round II = L
we cant have Morrison shooting 1-10 much longer with BK being on the floor for 10 min and getting 1 point as well... somehow BK got two technical fouls in the game
Sean May lead Bobcat scorers with 18 off of the bench in 34 minutes, adding 7 rebs and keeping up his good production.
27.3%, 3-11 from 3 is pretty bad and assists to turnover was 16:15 12/7/2006 9:05:48 AM |

They are killing on Morrison now
Quote : | "Adam Morrison, Bobcats: Look, we knew he'd be fairly one-dimensional, but lordy. This guy makes Lara Flynn Boyle seem well-rounded.
Morrison is a 6-9 forward playing 35 minutes a night, and yet he's grabbed three offensive rebounds the entire season. While I'd expect the 38.5 percent shooting mark to improve, Morrison's marks of 2.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists aren't nearly enough to offset his occasional scoring outbursts.
In fact, his 4.5 rebound rate is the worst of any player 6-7 or taller, and only one player bigger than 6-3 (more on him below) is worse." |

yep, Morrison was a horrible pick.
Michael Jordan is gonna haunt us I'm afraid.
I just hope he doesnt engage in any trades to hand other teams the championship like he helped the Pistons.
Luckily I'm not seeing a Richard Hamilton on our roster for him to throw away right now. 12/8/2006 4:32:44 PM |

Do the fucking deal Jordan. Do it!

Quote : | "The Charlotte Bobcats won't give up young talent to acquire Allen Iverson, according to the team's coach-general manager.
"We're not interested in mortgaging the future,'' Bernie Bickerstaff said Monday, when asked if the team will make an offer for Iverson. "We're pleased with our young players and we don't want to part with any of them.
"We will not mortgage our future.''
Bickerstaff told the Observer Saturday that the team inquired about Iverson's availability in trade. Management with the Philadelphia 76ers has said it intends to grant Iverson's request for a trade.
The Bobcats have millions in room under the NBA's salary cap, and Bickerstaff said he'd listen if other teams wanted to use that cap room to facilitate a deal. However, Bickerstaff said he hadn't been approached about such a scenario." |

it sucks cause i really like our nucleus and i'd hate to give up on somebody young, but at the same time, you're talkin about some instant credibility, which is good not only from a record standpoint, but just in gettin fans in and some national recognition. excluding okafor, i wouldnt mind losin one of our young stars to make it happen. 12/11/2006 5:07:18 PM |

As long as we keep Emeka and Felton I could give a shit who they get rid of, though I'd kinda like to give Morrison another year or two to see if he can step his game up

I went to the Suns game on Sunday, and had a great time. I was about 15-20 feet away from Muggsy Bogues where he was sitting courtside. Saw Amare dunk on Okafor twice in the first half.
Close game for the first half, but PHX blew the lead up to 12 midway in the third and never looked back.
I got an authentic Felton jersey in the team store and a Bobcats practice T-shirt. Around $200. It's like once you get an authentic jersey, you can't get another swingman jersey. Just doesn't feel right. 12/12/2006 9:33:08 AM |
