our problems aren't that serious, i'm sure they will be fixed but i'm glad to lose dead weight off the bandwagon. shoot a decent ft % in the 2nd half and win. The last three games we've gotten a big lead and then lost after trying to slow the pace and sit on it. Great sign to see that Scheyer, Henderson and Paulus are for real now.

Lol, we're on the bubble now but theres no need to worry about seed. Not after last year(having the best season only to play a top 15 team 2nd round, then have lsu texas after) that proved seeding means nothing, its all about who you get matched up with in your region and if we get near an inside-first team not named florida we will do well.

First, you aren't anywhere near the bubble.. yet. Duke's resume is far, far better than any real bubble team. They have wins against tourney locks Georgetown, Indiana, and BC. Wins against tourney bubble teams in Clemson and Air Force. No bad losses. However, they continue this streak into 5 or 6 losses or they will be on the bubble.

Second, not worry about seeding? What kind of retarded logic is that? Of course you want the highest seed possible. You don't want to play an underacheiving but athletic team like Alabama in the 8-9 or 7-10 game in the first round followed by a 1 or 2 seed in Round 2. The better seeding, the easier path. Just b/c Redick got cold and you lost to a lower seed in the Sweet 16 this past year doesn't mean seeding doesn't matter.

What a strange year this year though. The two most dominant teams the last decade or so are struggling to stay in the top half of their respective conferences.

look at bracketology now. duke would be much better off where they are than in unc or uclas position. Its all about matchups and don't try to pull us down with your huskies who are far worse. Ncstate was the only game they lost all year with pops so they really would have been well in the top 10 maybe top 5. They should have easily been a top 5 seed and were a bad athletic matchup for duke. Lsu ended up being the 2nd best team in the tourney. Its so many teams thats its all a tossup which makes seeds not matter. You talk about first round matchups? usually the 16s were gimmes but lastyear nova and uconn played some good teams in the first round. its one big free for all. Even the best teams need a road of good matchups and a few upsets along their path to go all the way.
