actually they usually call the timeout there because they had no intention on going for it... they just wanted to try to draw the defense offsides and then when they didn't, punt the ball... he burned the timeout here for no reason.

true, but apparently they did think about it during the timeout cause they decided to go for it anyway, and they decided what play to run. this happens all the time, just cause you dont like it doesnt mean its a stupid decision.
