I read a thing where the dlc for 360 wouldn't just be extra missions but possibly an entire new city

Some actual pictures of the special and regular edition boxes have leaked out. Also, people are reporting that a 7.1gb file claiming to the 360 version is floating around the usual places. If I were to guess, I'd say its legit, we're only a week away and I'm surprised it's taken this long to leak.

$90, for a gta branded duffel bag and lockbox. Also comes with a soundtrack (that will be ripped and posted somewhere moments after release) and an art book. Not really the most compelling of special editions and way too expensive at $90.

^^You can still play on live with modded drives.

There's no downside to having a modded xbox. Except for all that extra money in your wallet sometimes makes it hard to close.

i only buy but like 2-3 games a year. so modding would probably cost me money rather than save me money, and besides the fact of the imminent risk of my console being banned from live. for me modding is probably not worth it, but it is probably worth it to many others.

I honestly don't know that much about it. I know I've been using my modded drive on live for almost a year now with no bans. Supposedly if you get games that are stealth patched, whatever that means, then they can't detect it.

GTA and Madden are the only games I get psyched up like a 12 year for, and less so with madden since its out every year

Most games now its like "Oh that will be cool" but I don't really think about it that much till it comes out

worry about learning the map and figuring out the controls first...after that worry about the radio stations...then worry about the lines of speech from the random people on the streets...after that worry about riding around the city on top of somebody elses car...then worry about finding the tallest building you can get on top of and jumping off or sniping...THEN worry about the codes

has anyone ever played gta without using cheats?

i was always either too lazy to go buy guns or it seemed like the mission was overly impossible without a health cheat (walk around a corner and 80 cops with MP5's kill you instantly.

In San Andreas I usually hit the jet pack code and explosive weapons with infinite ammo code as soon I started up

just floated around shooting rockets at everyone


With this being the first one on 360, I bet they don't let you get achievements if you have cheats on

if you used cheats in past games and saved it, shit would get fucked up...like you could never turn off the "Pedestrians have Weapons" cheat...I popped GTA3 in for the box the other night and there was a tank just sitting in a random intersection

I didnt cheat in San Andreas though...well I didnt use cheat codes...I did however save my game, go to the horse track, and bet on the 12:1 or 11:1 until I won, then saved the game...Grove Street dont need cheat codes

the part where you had to break into the place a night or some other police mission i had to use infinite health but otherwise i'd just plug in unlimited ammo or some weapon pack just so i could be excessively violent.

I plan on printing the codes off whenever they come out and having them by my side whenever I'm playing till I memorize them

Even if you can't save with them, theyll be fun to activate then go on rampages and just not saving

Tho I'm betting the codes will be toned down since theyre going for a more realistic feel this time

I can't see them cutting them completely, but I wouldn't expect to see jet packs or fighter helicopters available via cheat at the start of the game

they'll probably have a few weapons that can't be acquired through cheats (like in SA maybe?) or maybe once you get to the mission where you get the weapon you unlock it. More than anything i just want to see how this multiplayer is going to work out.
