The chargers had a terrible first half, and their defense played awful.

But it was never proven that the chargers couldn't score quickly. The guy made a point that had been shown to be false dozens of times in the past, I was just pointing that out.

They had one score that was fast -- at the end of the third quarter. All the other drives were slow (when they needed to be quick) or complete abortions.

There is no doubt that the chargers couldn't keep up with NE -- only people who are complete homers will deny that.

To their defense, they have played the Bears and the Patriots, two playoff teams and a couple of very good defenses right there. I think if you go 1-1 against those two teams, you're pretty much in good shape. But I do have to say, the OL did not open holes for LT nor protect PRiv at all this game. If they are to be a SuperBowl contender, that OL needs to get better.

You mean how did my TEAM do? We sucked. I don't cheer on a team because of one player. I have been a fan of the panthers since day 1. However I have and will always have a problem with this bandwagon stuff. Cheer for him, not the team. Cheer for tory holt, NOT the rams.
