This Jimmy V Week is great for us. NC State and their National Championship are being shown to recruits all across the nation, those interviews being shown at the beginning are in Historic Reynolds Coliseum, and Sidney is getting his face out there as well. Hopefully his face will soon become nearly as recognizable nationally as Roy and K's.

All I'm saying is that a lot of these young kids don't know about college basketball's history. Hickson even when asked what he initially knew about NC State said, "not much" but then started to research us and realized we were one of the more tradition rich programs in college basketball and wanted to help restore the program to back where it once was. One problem with us is that we haven't made people aware of our famous alum. Spud Webb, Nate McMillan, Terry Gannon, etc. Those are all guys that a lot of your average NBA and college basketball fans would know of. Terry Gannon for his broadcasting career, Spud Webb for his playing career and legendary dunk contest win, and Nate McMillan for his coaching career.

The only reason why I care about Reynold being shown is that it'd be nice for it to be included more often in those talks about legendary college basketball venues such as Cameron Indoor Stadium, Phog Allen Fieldhouse, Pauley Pavilion, etc.
