we put a pink collar on zoey that says "princess".. since that is what she is. she is getting used to it. didn't like it at first...

i opened the door this morning and she ran out onto the porch....walked around in the snow for a second and then darted back inside. she is definitely a princess... spoiled rotten and doesn't even care to go outside

My cat will bite people out of nowhere and then immediately lick them. This is supposed to be a sign of dominance. My last girlfriends did the same thing.

This is new.

Usually she curls up within arm's reach; even in winter, she's not a curl-up-ON-you cat (she instead curls up near you, but under the covers).

All this morning, she comes, loves on me, and then curls herself into a ball, ON me, as much as she can.

I can't leave to go run errands when she's being this cute!

god i love my cats so much. and eric's cat adds the the kitty fun times. 3 kitties! so much personality in my condo.

my kitten chases her tail for like REALLY long periods of time. like - abnormally long periods. she's so crazy

and she still likes to nurse on me arms and neck even though she is a big girl (like 5 or 6 months old)

my cats are chasing one of those shield bug things that sometimes gets in my condo and i have these bamboo tables by my door and my cat (the fat one) tried to go through the bottom of the table (its all like criss crossed bamboo) and she got stuck, tried to reverse, realized she was stuck and tried to run with the table attached to her

she loves to get in my lap and purr but its like nonstop gas fest.

all the kitties eat the same thing and she seems to be the only one with a gas problem.

I love my cats. I have a tuxedo cat named callie and a tortoise shell cat named gabby.
Callie will throw herself at doors when they are closed...she also has a great affinity for my burberry purse and cuddles it.

Gabby will jump in the bathtub with me and will shred toilet paper rolls at any given chance.

I have one of those nose machines that has a mountain stream, heart beat, white noise, ocean, etc. I keep it on white noise, but my kittens somehow change it over to the heart beat. Every day. They've never picked one of the other sounds.

mine are both all over me lately

one does not like to snuggle or be held or even to be petted much. he doesn't regularly purr at signs of affection. now he's all "omg i must get in your lap and in your face and on your desk and prrrrrrrrrrrrrr." the other one only likes FykalJpn and regularly bites me. she is trying to climb on my back because she is in the chair behind me and not getting attention.

and this is after i started spending more time at home.

my roommate's cat will randomly do the sideways freaked out hop. he will arch his back and his tail will be straight up and all his fur is on end and he won't walk but he just hops sideways as he glares at you.

last night i was watching tv and he did this out of nowhere in the dark..... and then freaked out when i told him to chill out and started running around like he was on crack........

i will not miss that cat when i move the fuck out

hubby and I just got a kitten. she goes NUTS for ice cubes we accidentally drop on the kitchen floor. she swats them around like a ball until they melt, all the while shaking her paws because they get cold. we get such a kick out of watching her that we sometimes make a point to "accidentally" drop a piece of ice.

My one cat is obsessed with smelling my other cat's butt. Like will stick her nose straight into the bumhole and take a whiff. She usually does this when my other cat isn't paying attention, which leads to her getting pissed off when she suddenly has a nose up her ass

my cat eats plants, too!!! then vomits them back up. she's disgusting.

i free feed her, too. which is probably bad. she IS a fatty. she has one of those food dispensers that when the bowl is empty, more food comes out. when my dog discovered that she thought it was the best invention of all time. now kitty food has to stay up high.

this is her stalking me right now while i study/get distracted looking at TWW and sparkle shoes and wedding dresses (doh)
