I got VIP tickets (free!) from Derek, Suffocation's bassist. We hung out most of the night and after the show, and got to spend some time with Mike, Frank, Guy, and Terrence, all some of the nicest guys I've ever met in metal...Derek was buying me beers on the Suffocation "tab" all night and gave me all kinds of free shit. But the sweetest part is he took a personal interest in my band and has promised to distribute our next demo (in studio now) to a few major labels that he pulls a lot of weight with \m/

also happened to know 1349's manager and she hooked me up with a free shirt too

the singer for my band back in '03/'04 was a girl named Kelly Gates. really cute and really sweet too, i must say. Anthony Staton (Soulpreacher) and Zack Messick (The Demonstration, Seneca) also had stints. We split our studio rent with a punk band Concrete Bones (from the ashes of Concrete Bombers), a thrash/punk band fronted by a girl named Carla who has one of the loudest voices ever.

Thanks for teh concerns gaiz. I think that we will manage. We're gonna have to distort the bass guitar and I'm gonna have to count off for one part where there's a clean solo over a distorted rhythm part instead of letting it just happen. I think the only problem we'll have is that it won't sound as thick, unless someone can step up and learn 6 songs in a day and a half.

We will still own regardless cuz we are teh shit. I also found out that Novgorod got a label offer even though this will be our first show... wiggy.
