not at all, i was just stating that your paintings look like your copying or doing whatever technique was taught to you, not like your own or natrual, like you were trying to hard, your drawings looked WAYYYYYY better, and natrual. and i mean it 100%

By the way, next time you try painting magnetic cherry blossoms, THEY HAVE FIVE PETALS. It's fine if you don't need the inspiration, but if you can't even look at a real tree for reference, then that's just sad. Maybe you just can't count.

By the way, while you're googling, the correct answer here is dogwood, but not many varieties have pink flowers. At least they have four petals though.

It's an abstract. The fact that the tree doesn't actually exist in the real world is meant to express the idea that kiwi doesn't know trees.

The tree represents her self image.
Four petals simply means that she feels she is lacking in certain areas.

actully there are some alot more types of strokes and techniques you can learn. you obviously have the love for painting. Perhaps you should go to the library and check out some books to learn some more techniques.

Well, next time you paint a Kiwi's tree that looks like a cherry tree, you'll know that they have five petals. Education accomplished.

No, wait. What the fuck. No one who might seriously consider paying several hundred dollars for a painting of a branch is going to look at that and say, "Hmm, that's a nice-looking nonexistent, fictional tree branch." They're going to assume you were painting cherry blossoms, because that's what so many other artists have been inspired to do over the CENTURIES. It's a motif, a cliche, like Victorian swallows.

Work on your presentation as an avant-garde, fictional tree painter and maybe you'll go somewhere.
