In my experience, Incorrect. I had a similar issue (bought ticket for someone else, canceled last minute...I wasn't trying to get with them though) and the only course of action was to cancel the ticket and that same person on the ticket could, up to a year later, use it again for the same exact flight after paying a fee. No name changes were allowed. Your moral fallback fails.

theres a difference between friends, and meeting up with people you know at the bar. it's being social acquaintances. i've never hung out with you outside of a bar ever, with the one exception of my house party....and again, when i text you saying what bar i'm gonna be at that night (like the texts when i say im going to trivia), it's a mass text/mass invite, it wouldn't have made any bit of difference to me if you'd shown up or not.

i straight up said that i invited him to my house party so he'd bring his friends. hahah. there are tons of people i associate with, and meet up with to drink with actual friends....but if i dont hang out with them outside of the bar, i don't keep in contact with them online or in person and i dont confide in them in anything going on in my life, then no, that's not a friend, that's just someone you can drink with and associate with. there's people i hear from only when they're going out to the bar, and i don't get offended by it or the fact that we'll never hang out outside of the bar scene. it is what it is. lol. it's networking, i guess.
