There's been a lot of pre-order offers by plenty of merchants with $20-25 off, most of them in the form of a giftcard or such. Direct2Drive has it straight for $45 + tax right now. I think walmart, amazon and a few others still out there $20 off for console versions.

a shout out to Fenix for hooking me up with a BB gift card for my b-day plus traded in good ole mw2 for $30. didn't get in on any special deals but supposedly i'll get 500 RewardZone points or something, if that counts as special. will likely pick it up tonight cause i'm an idiot but i don't know how much playing will be happening.

For PC I have only seen one, and that was only for $20 credit toward another game. D2D is alright, but if I was getting it, it would be on Steam like all my other games at this point.

We'll see, right now I wouldn't have time for it anyway.

if you have read any of the past forums, this game will be on steam regardless if you buy a disc or online from other merchants. It uses steam's VAC system. There was a few kmart $25 gift card offers in the past, probably dead by now.

I pretty much bought this game for the zombies.. and I guess to give the campaign and online pvp mode a shot.

I don't think I played a single non-zombie online game with COD: WaW. I'm going to start a campaign tonight and maybe toy around online. I'll let you know my thoughts after I get some hours under my belt.
