i just really don't understand why anyone would have the urge to destroy that in the first place.

i mean, it's so horrible that a website brought a community of people together who were willing to drive long distances and/or take hours out of their schedule to go hang out with awesome people and maybe try to do something good for this site.

this is the time when every group and various companies want to paint the tunnel, its just the risk thats taken

that being said if does get painted i didn't do it because i was obviously joking and even if i did have any kind of malice towards this site (i don't, though i think some things should be different) i'll never care enough to spend my time painting a tunnel for it

just got back. had a kick-ass time guys

even if it did get painted over. i still had fun, i think the painting turned out pretty awesome, we got some photos, it'll be in the technician...people will find out about tdub one way or another. they always do

like fareako and guth said, it's the beginning of the semester, and it's the free expression tunnel. it's gonna get painted over. if another group painted over it tonight, we'll just send them a polite letter outlining the following statute

im just sayin.... we are in our thirties now.... students think we are complete outsiders not to mention the added stigma associated with all of those inside jokes and shit

shouldnt be surprised if they did deliberately fuck up the wall... i mean, do you think tww of 2000-2002 would have stood for a bunch of outsiders fuckin with the FXT? no. shit i can remember a number of times we all ran down there to over-paint campus crusade messages, unc crap, and lots of other stuff...

i'm sure those attitudes haven't changed... even if the kids don't have a message board from which to organize, might have just been some friends who were like, "hey let's go fuck with those tww losers"

that and word of mouth is how i came to know this site.

and i agree with the inside jokes; only a handful of old users have been apart of these jokes and they have no bearing on potential new users. you are trying to get people to come to the site and join and post, not have some ass-backwards reunion and "remember this" nostalgia on the free expression tunnel.

So get this, not only were the people who painted over the wall malicious, they are also competitive.

I went over there this afternoon and now it's all black with big red letters for WolfWall.com, that shitbag of a website, and all of the TWW painting is completely gone, the chalk is still there but it's is hardly noticable in comparison.

I sat there for five minutes and a ton of freshman were looking at it and going 'WolfWall.....huh,' so anybody who still has paint in Raleigh ought to get back over there and spray 'Web' over top of the 'Wall' part, because pretty much nobody is seeing TWW stuff.

This is fucking war.
