wow. jackson was just like "aight man, you get this one". wow. didn't even go for the ball or make any attempt to stop the defender(s) from catching it. not the best decision to make that throw by rivers, but i think jackson could have done a lot to make that an incomplete pass or even a touchdown.

Brady got at least 15 TD passes in 2006 throwing it to Moss in double coverage and letting him jump for it. VJ needs to at least try for that shit.

yeah. it definitely wasn't a great decision throwing into double coverage, but plenty of QB's have ended up with TD's from throws like that. It just requires a receiver that goes up and gets it. I mean hell, you could even take an offensive PI in that situation if you absolutely had to. Anything's better than a turnover.

How many Rivers interceptions have come on a) receiver running the wrong route (almost an interception the previous drive) or b) receiver quitting on the ball. I know he is making throws into double coverage or a bad spot a lot too (especially when he doesn't get a pocket), but San Diego's offense is designed around him making those throws and receivers making those plays.

Anyone defending Rivers right now is crazy. Yeah last night with McNeil out, he had a lot of pressure, but all season he has been making poor decisions. I don't know why he is forcing throws so much. Already set a career high for INTs for a season and we're barely past the halfway point.

Atlas Rivers shrugged, and now the entire team is falling apart.

In the long run this is a good thing. They are 1 game closer to Norv getting fired. Rivers and the Chargers will bounce back, but Norv will never be a head coach again after this year.
