It's not like it's a difficult song to sing though. Paul Simon isn't exactly known for his octave range or anything like that. And I'm sure Miley has done hundreds if not thousands of live performances. So sure, a professional performer was able to sing a song when it's original author was in the building. That's pretty much the pinnacle of 40 years of SNL right tgl?
