certainly - we're never gonna be in the position to poach a good head coach from another P5 school unless it's a TOB situation where he's run his course at his current school and needs a change of scenery. we're almost always gonna have to go the coordinator/mid-major route for a HC. i just meant more in terms of the rebuild not being as bad under this hypothetical new coach. but, obviously part of our recruiting class would surely fall apart and we'd have some transfers...there's always gonna be some level of rebuilding when there's a coaching change. but it probably wouldn't be as drastic this time.

Pay Cutcliffe what he wants, he won't need to move.

Also Sonny Dykes has a degree in Nuclear Enginering. He's 100% NC State material.
