i see a few people saying this. i get it, i really do. but...i'll nit pick it a little bit. Tee Martin is an OC at a major program right now (only one season as OC). that's already a notch above Sid's college experience when we hired him. Martin's at least been coaching in the college ranks, in some capacity, for 8 years now. Lowe, even today, does not have 8 years experience at the college level. at least Martin would know the ins and outs of recruiting and running a program at this level...Lowe had none of that.

I am not a Doeren lover by any means but LOL at them BOYCOTTING DA SCHOOL if DD was hired. He beat Vandy's ass last year and they have lost their last 14 SEC games. Too bad we don't have a home/home in this time frame.

^^^ it's really not comparable at all. Lowe had experience as an NBA head coach (and was the worst head coach in NBA history) and no college experience at all. Tee Martin is an offensive coordinator for a ranked power 5 team that's playing for it's conference championship.

A hire comparable to Lowe would be like Peyton Manning, even though he didn't win a national championship

yeah it might be a stretch for him to get a major P5 HC job right now, but i don't think it'd be that crazy for Martin to be offered a HC position at a group of 5 type of program sometime soon.
