i was getting in a text message fight earlier with one of my coworkers about the schedule. its just really dumb. i mean my job is pretty dumb in general (i mean i like it a lot when i'm there, but i haven't worked a full shift in forever) because it is just a summer retail job but the schedule is always messed up and then people are angry. and i don't want people to be angry at me.

I hate my schedule. I work 5 hour days and 10 hour days. The 5 hour days suck because I have to drive 30 minutes to and from work. Just a waste of time and gas to drive into greensboro for a 5 hour day.

that is kind of my problem. i live 25 mins away from where i work and its fine if i'm going to work for 6 hours or whatever but i get there, its slow, and i get sent home after 2. so then i'm like oh well just tell me if you don't need me i won't be offended. i'd rather just not have to waste driving time and gas.

like they put me down for both full days on the weekend and that is fine because that is clearly when i'm needed. so i'm fine with just working that. the weekday stuff is starting to get stressful and my job shouldn't be stressful. but it really is annoying to drive so far to only work 2 hours and with what i get paid, 2 hours of work is getting me like, dinner and 1 beer.
