So perjury deserves the death penalty now? Good to know. The only thing Shaes testimony did was cause tyrion to f up and ask for trial by combat rather than going to the wall. He was guilty already. Also he had told Pod to lie if put in that situation.

Also tyrion could have left when he saw her, he approached her not vice versa, not like shae chased him.

this isn't set in america. in GoT world, there are countless acts that are punishable by death. i wouldn't be surprised if perjury is one of them.
