as embarassing as that was last night, Clemson is one of the youngest teams in the nation...42 freshman or redshirt freshman on that team. Definitely overachieved from what I expected. With a top 5 class & more game experience I think Clemson is pretty poised to win another ACC title in 2012.

No. Bama should have won that first game. Saban just made some bad decisions kicking some of those long field goals. I think Bama wins and we have a split national championship, allowing the SEC to claim 2 championships in one year. Ugh that would be horrible.

Plus one would be a [small] step in the right direction. I hate the notion of a hand-picked rematch, especially for a team that lost at home. Just my opinion and it has nothing to do with the perception (because that's all it is without lining up teams on the field) that these are still the "two best teams."

With more than a month off since their last game it's hard to say that good teams will play better, in some ways they've got to work out some kinks just like in the first game of the season (though not as exaggerated). One of the many reasons I hate these bowls. I feel like you aren't getting these teams in their prime.
