The career counselor told me to apply to places I was interested in that listed themselves on a certain website, even though the website didn’t say whether or not they were hiring. I was preparing to apply when I found on another site that they were hiring. But not until after I had already come up with some ideas to try to make myself look like an appealing candidate even if they weren't really hiring. So now I think I have a good shot. I really need some job, philosophy majors aren't the hottest thing on the market. Wish me luck anyone who cares to read this.
