Just got a new purse from Etsy!
$10. I suck at carrying big purses - I don't have anything in them! If anything, I'd throw a Nintendo DS, as I don't even have make-up or anything, soooo I wanted something tiny just for my phone and money. Sturdy made, $10. Can't wait to use it!

should i buy this? 24.99 from urbanoutfitters.com less 15% (which isn't much, i know, but still. it is kinda cute and on sale. it was 38. really simple, i also like the color:
i also REALLY like this but totally not getting it because on sale it is 59.99. way too much for what it is. plus who knows if i could pull it off i just think it is cute:

my only concern is the ribbon not holding the shoes on right, or too many rub points causing blisters. the website says they're comfortable and the ribbon moves with your foot but im skeptical. if any of you girls (rjrgrl i know you already ordered) get them and wear them, post about comfort results!
otherwise i could totally see these being shoes i could wear everyday. but not if they hurt " |
i'll def let yall know! (it'll be 2.5-3 weeks before I get them) a plus is the girl that makes them is really nice - i've been emailing back and forth with her. she says that theyre comfortable and that she wears them all day while shes making these shoes
oh, fyi, for the medium height shoes, the wedge is 1.25" (at the ball of your foot) and 2.5" total (at the back of the heel), so its only a 1.25" rise, which is awesome for me since i'm a klutz in heels
as for the ribbon digging in, i think that'd probably depend on the type of ribbon - but i'll be sure to report back6/24/2009 10:03:14 PM |

it looked like they just gave you some normal, nice ribbon. i can't imagine that it would hold up but for so long. thankfully i have a stockpile of gorgeous ribbon and am constantly purchasing more.

im totally a lucky jean girl. but i'm also a bargain shopper so i only buy them at the outlet store my favorite cut is sweet n low & i can regularly snag them for $50
speaking of outlet shopping... i got some sweet deals yesterday (i live 20min from a nice outlet mall here in houston) here are some of my good finds...
i got this coach purse for over 75% off the original price. too good to pass up and absolutely gorgeous
there is another pair of shoes not shown, they didnt have my size so they're sending them to me. they're peep toe as well but white with black piping. snagged all of them for about $35 each

How do I make it stop? 6/25/2009 6:34:08 PM |

^^Too bad their bras suck
I'm actually having full-on menstrual cramping for the first time in a very long time (with the IUD, the closest thing I get to a period is tinted discharge. And cramping happens maybe 4 times a year, and it's so mild it barely registers).
Uhm...how do yall deal with this? Before I got the IUD, I tried all the NSAIDs, massage, warm bath, ice packs, and narcotic painkiller remedies I had heard about/could think of. They didn't work then. Well, vicodin made it a little more tolerable. Part of why I opted for an IUD was because the cramping has always been very bad.
I damn near drove off the road today because of one. 6/25/2009 6:48:13 PM |

This may seem like the last thing you would want to do...but have you tried some comfortable exercise? Exercising can release endorphins...natural pain killers.
Also, a rice sock...get a sock and fill it with white rice then microwave it. It's a moist heat, which can be more effective than a heating pad...plus it contours to your curves. Hope you feel better! 6/25/2009 6:53:48 PM |

while i don't really care for horizontal stripes, i don't think that's gonna make or break you. if you're gonna wear a suit like that anyway, a horizontal stripe isn't gonna make you look "OMG SO MUCH BIGGER!" 6/26/2009 11:30:46 AM |
