Halo 3 and COD4 are great.

Get Undertow, Puzzle Quest, Settlers of Catan, Carcassnne, or PacMan:CE from Xbox Live Arcade among all the other ones. Those are my favorite at the current moment. I dont know, there's tons of games dude....I mean here's some if you just bought the console...

if you have a large hard drive on your 360 and 15 minutes to dick around, you can just download like 30 demos and thats honestly about the best way to tell if you personally will like a game or not...by playing the demo

Dude you need to get yourself informed. Bioshock was the freaking AP Video Game of 2007. I.E. the highest regarded video game of the year. And even more, it averaged higher than any other console game on metacritic PERIOD.

sure it's a great game, but playing through a single player game (same story, same missions every time), you only get so much replay out of it

only reason these days to buy a game is for multiplayer, or if it's going to have a TON of hours (see Mass Effect, Oblivion, etc)

I disagree. Bioshock is a game that's so good you want to have it on your shelf. I'm going to play through it again likely next spring...it's such a great experience. One of a kind.

Just because it's single player only doesn't make it only a rental. When it does the best job it almost can do for a single player experience, to many people that warrants having at your disposal. It's like buying a DVD, you could argue none are worth buying b/c you only visit them at minimum once a year or two.

they recently released the upgrade pack for The Godfather...I think its 250 marketplace credits/points/whatever

supposed to add like 10-12 missions and 5 new achievements...that game is dope anyway if you hadnt played it...its kind of like some Grand Theft Auto / Driver / open ended world shit but you can go into shops and slam shopkeepers against the wall or slam their head into the cash register and be like "see here's what you're gonna do see, you're gonna pay me 10% of your profits every month see"
