Picked up Scarface last night. Hadn't played it on the other consoles, so I didn't realize just how much of a GTA clone it is.

The Wii controls are pretty good, though--I got used to the pointer for aiming pretty quickly. Feels much more natural.

^^^ Check craigs list. I picked one up for 300 bucks. Considering after taxes. I only paid a 35 convience/finder's fee and it was brand new. Reciept and all from the day I picked it up. Good luck finding one.

for once, rocky mount is where it's at. there is usually at least one on the shelf everytime i go in target, walmart, sam's, etc...

^^ apparently its AO in the USA now. I just preordered mine on rockstar's website. Hopefully they wont have to water it down to make it a M game.

Doesn't surprise at all that it got this rating. Some people felt the first game deserved an AO and previews say this one is even more violent.

based on the reviews (9.0 from IGN, 9.1 from GS, 5/5 from Gamespy, etc.), it looks like I'll be picking up RE4 sometime this week.

^^meh, i have it on Gamecube. IGN says its the same thing just with better controls. I'll probably hold out for Manhunt. And maybe get Scarface in the meantime.

But if I didn't have the cube version I'd definitely get it.

Don't be scared off by the Gamespot review--it's too negative IMO.

If you haven't played it on another console, it's a decent GTA-style game--nothing stellar, but it should fill some time.

After a week or playing with the TWoods controls.... I love it.

BUT they have a long way to go if they want to attract audiences that arent virtual golf nerds.

i'm becoming really ticked off/disappointed with Wii. I was at the store a few days ago looking at the selection of games for Wii, PS3, and 360.
PS3 and 360 have some awesome games out that I would love to play.
Then I look over at Wii and they are kiddy games or games that look really boring.

Can Metroid Prime 3 please hurry up and come out?

they dont put them out on the shelves.

i was there on thursday night looking for a cable and i over heard one of the employees ask for the key for the Wiis. and i asked them and they said they have 3 in stock. they had twenty something on Tuesday.

im sure they are all gone. but you just gotta ask for them.

Try ebGames (aka Game Stop) between 11 and 1 pm (when they get their shipments in)-- they get 3-5 at a time (not every day), and they sell out pretty quickly...I had good luck at Crabtree.

Also I think The Bigs (Bigz?) comes out today. Has been getting decent reviews, but since it will probably be forever until another baseball came comes out I'll probably get it.
