The conditions were actually better than the one CONCACAF Qualifier in the rain storm that I watched earlier in qualifying. It was Guatemala vs Panama, or something like that. The ball couldn't even roll two feet ahead because of the water puddles.

I feel like Panama's field always has serious issues even if it's just a little bit of rain.

Good win, couldn't really judge the performance given the weather though. 3 points. Mexico isn't doing too well right now and it should be a great match.

Also elduderino what does being a Brit have anything to do with following the US? I live in this country now and I am going to be a citizen in the next week, so gtfo. Thank god most Americans are more welcoming than the likes of you.

No, we started Beasley tonight because all of our LB options are hurt. There's a difference between that and playing Boca over promising young central defenders. But you already know that, you just like arguing with me.

Feels a lot better going into Azteca with 3 points.

Azteca is going to be fucking crazy with them in a must win game against their rivals. It's like Keller said last night, if we can withstand that initial onslaught, that place could get reaaal ugly. I can not freaking wait to be there.

You're going to be murdered.

I'm not even talking about at Azteca, I just assume any white person going to Mexico City without security runs at least a 50% chance of being abducted and/or murdered. You're just begging to die by going to that game too.

Still, if USA can keep it even through the first 20 minutes that crowd will turn on their own team and we could get out of there with 1 or even 3.

While going to that game would be an incredible experience, I don't think I would set foot in Mexico City for that game.

I'll be fine. I'll be covered in beer, I'm sure, but still fine.

UNLESS WE GET 3...

So if I die, let me say mad respect to team woma and never let a United fan go untrolled on this board until the day it shuts down

I don't think I would do that either, but I was in the front row at Crew stadium in 2005 about 20 feet from Steve Ralston when he scored a game winner vs Mexico and then Beasley sealed it a few minutes later with another goal. Go sit in the front row with one of the US support groups in Columbus when they play Mexico, if you want to have fun.

^And Mexico and Peru also playing at high Altitudes isn't?

Costa Rica to Protest weather

^ He was probably referring to the weather, not the altitude. To be fair that match would have most likely been called off in Europe, especially in the South of England. However that said both teams probably were asked before the match if they wanted to continue and Costa Rica most likely said yes. If Costa Rica had reservations before the match and the ref. still opted to continue then they may have a basis for their appeal.

hilarious that they are gonna protest a little snow when our guys have to face batteries and bags of piss raining from the sky, terrible bumpy dirt fields and their hotels are assualted the night before when we play there

The Ticos failed to follow proper FIFA protest protocol and their appeal was denied, match stands

any other sites streaming? DirectTV isn't in any of the lists available to me so far to log into ESPN3 for some reason when using a proxy so I guess I'm SOL. (if I don't use a proxy I just can't get in period of course)

Unbelievable, pulling our target forward that has keyed some decent setups for GAM.

Gomez has experience in Mexico but has done nothing, hit an awful corner kick, and plays similar in style. If you are pulling a forward...
