if i were a juror, i'm not sure how i would take the constant objections... making the defense look bad for trying to do shit they "arent allowed to" or making the prosecution look bad because their case is fucking razor thin at best.

I know that with what drhavoc has said on the stand being over most people's head that the jury is going to realize that he knows what the fuck he's talking about

that does not help the prosecution AT ALL. they can sit there and petulantly object to every question that is contrary to their case, and he doesn't even have to answer them to show that they're worried about his answer. That goes a long way to swaying someone's opinion.

The D proved you don't have to be a court certified pc forensics expert to manipulate data on a computer. Hell most of the regulars in Tech Talk could do what drhavock did. And if he can do it I'm sure the FBI has guys that could do it easily. It's all how the jurors translates it. The real big deal would be if the D could PROVE the files were planted.

Depends on how smart the jury is and what bias they already have. The objections and whining will just reinforce whatever opinion they've already formed.

the only thing separating drhavoc from a "certified forensics expert" is the fact that he doesn't hold an Incase certification. He obviously knows how to use a laundry list of other softwares to accomplish a multitude of tasks.


To me, that lack of certification is immaterial to me.

They definitely proved it could be done. Without a court certified pc forensics expert it's going to be tough to prove it was done. But reasonable doubt alone should be enough

if i were kurtz, instead of faultering with the same question, until giving up until offer of proof, I'd ahve asked "do you see any evidence of a network security intrusion" let him go yeah google maps cursor files is fucked up son, thats evidence. then the jury hears it.
