Yeah, it seems like anytime I'm at a baby boomer's house, Fox News is either the main focus on television or is on all day in the background. Either way, it's clear that they don't trust any other news source on television, and Fox News typically sows that distrust into its viewers.

Two things with this quote..

Fox seems to be getting some hate over showing unedited video. On one hand it is benefitting ISIS by creating a larger audience than would have otherwise seen it... However, is it really any worse than CNN giving a verbal walk through of the video every twelve minutes? I'm conflicted.

So I flipped on FoxNews last night to see how they were covering Baltimore, and although I knew it'd be silly, I was simply amazed... Hannity had a black reporter who was actually in a crowd of protesters in Philly, and he kept asking people "why are you protesting here, it happened in Baltimore" over and over and over... and then he would keep repeating "but do ALL lives matter? why are you focusing on black lives", and he repeated that a few dozen times too. And of course, most of the people he was asking were total morons or insane people who couldn't give a straight answer.

that was posted in direct response to someone saying "wait till monday" - we didn't even have to wait until dinner to have another event of multiple people being shot and/or killed.

the FBI defines mass murder as 4 or more people getting killed. a mass shooting has been defined by a group of people tracking them as 4 or more people shot. it doesn't hide the fact that we have an average of more than one event a day in this country of 4 or more people being shot in one incident. it shows that the problem is much, much bigger than a "mass murder" statistic would show.

but sure, go ahead and say that defining an event in which four people get shot is something worth ignoring. i'm sure it's easier for your tiny brain to not have to comprehend nuances and just say

"THAT DRIVE BY WASN'T BAD BECAUSE ONLY 2 OF THE 4 PEOPLE SHOT DIED"

or "WELL ONLY ONE OF THE FOUR PEOPLE SHOT IN CHICAGO DIED"

or

i don't think you read the article. the "good guy with a gun" did not stop the killing. the relative didn't chase him out of the house shooting after him. the guy ran down the driveway and got in his car to drive away. it was only then that a relative came out of the house and shot him.

The initial story reported the suspect killed 3 adults, then fled the scene as a 4th adult (grandfather) shot him once in the arm. First take of the story suggests the suspect was going to kill everyone, then fled from the last armed relative.

A more recent article shows that wasn't the case, the suspect spared the grandfather then walked away. Either way, it contributed in his capture.
