I wouldn't be completely shocked if he steps down/gets canned.

I thought there was a decent chance of him getting canned last year after just making the play-in game. And I can't imagine the powers that be were exactly jumping for joy over a 6 seed before they got upset.

I think the suddenness of the downfall is a big factor too. But actually kinda insulates him. Maybe he survives but not shocked at all if he is gone. UNC wants another roy
