ohhhh yum i made some good rosemary/italian potatoes on father's day used fresh rosemary from the garden and added a packet of good seasons italian dressing, a little fresh grated parm cheese and a little olive oil. they were yummy and rosemary but developed a nice crispy crust! 7/7/2010 4:35:40 PM |

My dinners these past few weeks have consisted of
Meat Rotini Pasta Jarred Green Beans +Apple on occasion
Where Meat is sausage or chicken. I did buy some pork at the store, so hopefully that tastes good.
The meat is pretty expensive (2.30 for a single chicken breast, 1.99-2.20 for sausage), so to save I buy everything that says DISCOUNT on it. So I'm getting a package of rotini pasta for 0.37 Euros and the 6 pack of apples is like 1.something 7/7/2010 4:49:16 PM |

i have no idea if my dinner will work or not! i've never done this before.
i have some lentils cooking on low in veggie broth and a little water. to that i added a saute of finely chopped carrot, celery, and white onion. now it's all simmering on the stove.
my aim was to make a lentil soup. i may still add some tofu to the soup, but i'll do that when the lentils are almost done so that the tofu doesn't fall apart (thnx Skwinkle).
it smells good ] 7/7/2010 8:29:16 PM |

i've been cooking with a lot of lamb recently and would highly suggest it in places you're used to having beef
even my fourth of july cookout burgers were lamb
ground lamb with finely chopped mint, touch of cinnamon, paprika... on a ciabatta with caramelized finnneeeely sliced red onions with a baby spinach salad with balsamic, olive oil, blue cheese....
oven roasted sweet potato fries (with cumin and cinnamon)
grilled them at the pool, with little containers of the toppings
the two other guys cooking bubba burgers were all like 7/7/2010 8:57:34 PM |

I don't like lamb. I haven't liked it ever since I ate it straight off the leg and it looked like a human leg and tasted like one too. 7/7/2010 9:00:33 PM |

I can't be sure honestly. The psychedelic ritualistic acts of cannibalism I participated in were so intensely powerful that I will not ever be able to discern how many legs I have consumed. 7/7/2010 9:10:52 PM |

counting calories still
but that has kinda died in the last week. and will probably stay dead for the next 2 weeks.
after the bar exam i will get back on the diet train. well not diet. counting calories train.
even though my problem isn't the counting its the eating enough of the right shit. like all i had today was 2 pieces of pizza and water and 1 beer. so probably not the # of calories nor the right kind.
BOOO ON THIS. if i hadn't gained 20lbs i wouldn't have to worry as much about eating. LESSON LEARNED. 7/13/2010 12:04:48 AM |
