i know it's my 1st post, but a close alumni friend of mine has told me we've offered donovan 4.2 mil for 10 years.

has till tomorrow to accept. not saying he's accepting, but we've offered. on april 1st his contract has clause that will make him pay back 500k for leaving. so should know soon if he takes.

Well, moose...I hope you're right. That's really I've got to say...

As for Marshall...he must be a good coach. But my only concern is that he has never been hired away from Wichita (after he went there from Winthrop). There must be a reason he has been passed up on so often...he's been around a while now. Definitely since before our last coaching search. Watching his team play...they look well coached and I assume he's a good one. But the cause for concern, IMO, is why he's never been hired away from Wichita. There must be a reason...right?

he's got a raging boner for him and has been trying to convince other people that he is the best option ever.

I went to that. It was fun. A lot of old guys were there reminiscing about the old days. I think Ernie Meyers was there to congratulate him. Some people made way for him to get to the front to see Lowe and they talked for a relatively long time. They should have held it at Reynolds Coliseum though. It was hot as hell that day, and Sid was sweating bullets in his suit.

I also went to the McKimmon Center rally for Lowe. I think I remember seeing kevmcd there too with a weird hat on.
