a friend of mine out in Greenville built a house. then she got engaged to her boyfriend, so she moved into his house and put her house on the market. she got rid of her cat when she moved in with him, because he doesn't like cats. they've been planning a wedding for months.

he came home from work on New Year's Eve and told her he didn't love her anymore and wanted her to leave.

she called her parents thursday night after he said that to her. they drove from Wendell to Greenville to go get her, and i guess she stayed at home for the weekend, but at some point they went out there and got all her stuff out (which she'd just finished moving in less than a month ago) and moved it to her house - which is officially off the market now.

the only thing he told her was that he didn't love her anymore and didn't want to be with her anymore. basically, it's-not-you-it's-me bullshit. no real reasons.

of course, they dated less than a year before getting engaged, and they've only been engaged 2 or 3 months, so i guess you can say it was too much, too soon?

He lost 50 lbs...and after seeing some of his pictures that he showed tonight at his fattest I think it was warranted.

With this new season, I too was thinking, "whoa--that's a lot of weight loss; is he sick?" But he's certainly not underweight.

He's definitely put on pounds over the years. He was pretty large during his special about cooking on the sea. It's a lot, but we don't see him on a daily basis so the loss is more shocking.

I'm just glad he's not sick!

He either ate them alone, or on an open faced sandwich. He first toasted the bread then spread avocado on the toast. Pressed the sardines in to the avocado, put back in the oven, and then served

his whole "diet" was 4 lists...1 of things to eat daily, 1 of things to eat 3x a week, 1 only once a week, and 1 to never eat. I pretty much follow that, at least in my head, weekly...but I'm interested to give it a shot and see how I progress from that.
