yeah, didn't quite get it... I had a big high and then huge letdown... I thought top 35 got seats, and when we made it to 35, I was thrilled. Then we were still playing, and I was like, wtf??? So I rechecked, and 32 - 35th got $650 (buy in back), and 31 got seats. And of course, I went out 34th

C'est la vie... I did have a $10k day overall even without the seat though - took 6th in the UB $500 for about $6k, and 49th in the Dise $1k ($3k payout) (My AA got reraised all in by 9Ts preflop... 9 on flop, T on river), and a few other cashes here and there. And I won the $1k buy in contest on pocketfives... so that was another $5k profit .

Good day overall, but very bummed I didn't win another seat.

I know I was playing a $5 SNG. I guess that explains why you got called on a gutshot in a 100+9 tourney too right? My point was to say people make terrible calls online. Like insta-calling a reraise of 500 more chips with AQ as chip leader. Bad moves all around.

^ Dude I understand, trust me, but yeah that crap happens all the time. In low-limit tourneys early on guys will call all-in with almost anything. The mentality is to double up quick and use their chip lead to cost into the cash.

This mentality is of course ass-backward. Best strategy is to play conservatively and pick these assholes off ON THE RIVER, when you can make a better assessment of where you stand. Early on, when people are playing fast and loose, big bets and big bluffs are less than useless. They're a waste of time...

Like oh my Gawd,

I was watching this 15/30 limit omaha game. And this dude totally handed Ben like $500 in less than 10 hands. I was like WOW at least a whore has a happy ending to pissing off that kinda wad.

So I must say you don't suck at poker. But we need those fishes to survive.

I of course was cooling off from a 150 dollar bad beat in the nl holdem table and sentenced myself to a break.
