Huh. Now you have me entrigued about metabolic rate... I've never been a calorie counter, ever. I will probably need to start that a few years down the road. I've never been super duper happy about how I look, but I know that I'm not fat (5'10, 140lbs, give or take five lbs on each side, depending on what I've eaten lately). Granted, I'd love to take the hips and thighs down a bit (I've got a flat stomach, just no muscle)... but couldn't really see myself at the gym - too embarassed and nervous, I'd have to take a friend with me.
On the vitamin note, I've always been afraid my nutrition isn't the greatest - I'm kinda a picky eater. I don't go for veggies a lot - about the only one I like is broccoli (if we're counting tomatoes as fruits, and even those, they've gotta be IN something, like a soup - can't eat 'em on a hamburger). I do love me some fruit though...grapes, bananas, apples, watermeleon.. I can't remember who, but you mentioned fruit gummy vitamins. I've never seen such a thing! Can't take horse pills (I'll choke), so point me in the direction of chewies! Yum. 7/29/2009 9:26:20 AM |

^^if it says 100% "whole" you're pretty much covered either way...
if it says "multi" grain then you're just eating several different kinds of refined flour.... 7/29/2009 6:14:20 PM |

oooh, ok...so one my cheat foods is tortilla chips and salsa.

home goods is now my new favorite place on the planet. if anyone needs to decorate their house with completely random ass shit, this is your place.
i can't wait to be a crazy old lady and fill my house full of shit like ceramic elephants and hand blown glass roosters. 7/29/2009 7:52:45 PM |

how many of their corsets do you have and how well do they fit?
personally i make my own salsa, its way healthier, cheaper, tastes phenomenal, and takes literally 6 minutes to make 7/29/2009 8:17:58 PM |

homemade salsa is the best!
i also like newman's own black bean and corn salsa a lot. that is really all i eat anymore.
i need rainboots, i think. i don't really want to buy them but i feel like they are necessary 7/29/2009 8:36:49 PM |

^^^where is this place
^^oh geez...i have 6 meschantes (inccluding the new one coming) and one fredericks of hollywood.
meschantes blows federicks out of the water. easily.
they fit amazingly, they need about 12 required measurements before they make each corset. they are extremely sturdy and hard-boned.
i can post some of their galleries if anyone is interested
and the owners are two of the most genuine and nicest people i know.
^i have a pink pair that have about had it. they are actually really handy.

TWW Ladies, I need help! I ordered a dress from Modcloth and it arived today! However I'm not sure if it quite fits. (darn buying things online!!!) I figured, I have a small chest I might as well take advantage and wear a no-bra dress! Unfortuantely although the top is adjustable I'll still need double-sided tape to keep from exposing myself. also the heavy denim fabric I think hides my shape more than it benefits. what should I do??? I may post a pic of myself later if the internet is working.
I may trade it for this one, another "who's laughing now, D-cups" item

ok ladies, i need some help! i'm hosting a martini party at my house next weekend and need some ideas. here is what we're working with
-15 young professional women -730pm on a friday -everyone is bringing a martini recipe and ingredients -im providing all alcohol and appetizers
so as far as theming it goes, i have some ideas. i think they seem fun, but i love a good theme party so please tell me if im too into it
-i want to blow up green balloons and put them on the floor to simulate olives -play jazz music or james bond type theme songs -somehow create mixing stations so people can mix at their leisure and it doesnt turn out that 15 girls are all waiting for the same martini to be made -id REALLY love if we all wore cocktail dresses, i think it'd be fun
and of course, cute napkins and plates to eat off of and perhaps some plastic martini glasses to put smaller food items in, maybe make a pudding dessert type thing to serve in the glasses.
what else can you think of? i dont want it to be cheesy but i definitely want it to be fun. any other music ideas?
as for the group of girls, i know them all through various means but im not besties with anyone in particular. ive known most of the girls invited for at least a year and we've socialized before but there will be a few people who only know me.
thanks for the help 8/5/2009 4:06:25 PM |
