so GT throws it out passed the white line. Then, when it crosses the line's it's out of bounds. Then, it hits Bennerman, and that doesn't matter since it's already been deemed out of bounds.

If a guy is hurt and the other team has the ball, they throw it out of bounds on purpose. That way, they can attend to the injured player immediately, and when the game resumes the other team would throw it out on purpose so that the original team would retain possession.

i agree with the OOB on cam.. but i still believe that plays like that (throwing the ball at an opponent, whether is throwing to someone OOB to save the ball.. or to throw it at the feet of someone inbounds to get a fresh 5 on inbound plays..) should be considered fouls.. I mean a lot of fouls are there to protect the players, such as over the backs, and elbows.. so why is the heaving a ball at an opponent intentionally not one?
