I bought GH2 and the guitars, but I still think its neat playing some different songs on the pc and being able to use my guitars to do so.

I would think it was neat too if Frets on Fire didn't totally suck my ballsack. Yes it's awesome being able to import any song you like. But FoF is horrible.

PC Guitar Hero and Freetar Hero are both better than FoF, but still lightyears from being 10% as fun as Guitar Hero.

So are there times you dont even have to "strum" on the controller at all? Ive seen people doing Jordan on expert using both hands to hit the buttons. If I knew I didnt have to strum the thing on every single thing as it flew by that might make it more doable

I got the game roughly two weeks ago (after playing it at a friends house a few times and getting addicted) and I have just finished five starring everything on medium. I want to unlock the guitars and stuff that you get for beating easy, but it is just tooooooo boring.

I've already 5-starred all the songs on hard, and the only one i can't get on expert is Jordan... that song is just insane....

Okay so I finally mastered GH I & II on medium level and was comfortably able to 5 star the harder songs no problem. So I just now stepped up to hard level. omfg wtf I suddenly suck major balls at this game. I can't even get four stars on the first song.

I have the exact same problem. That song just fucking sucks, and the guitarist should be shot for coming up with that fucking repeating section. I can roll through most of the "harder" expert songs using quickplay, but I just cant get past this damn song.

when i was finishing expert i was having trouble with all the songs in the last set

but one night i was able to beat them all within 2 or 3 tries

it was so weird, but now I have no trouble with any of those songs

when i started hard i just shifted my fingers over so my pinky was on the orange fret

back then it was easier for me to move my index over to green than my pinky over to orange

^^ Hard to say, really. I didn't have the option of going medium to hard to expert on II at the same time as I.

I did it on I first just because that's what I had, so by the time I got to II, I was already pretty good at expert. I didn't notice if it was harder going up levels because I was already at those levels, if that makes sense.

Now that I think about it, it might be easier to do it on II because the pull-off, hammer-on stuff is easier on II. Then again, it won't make it easier to do I because the pull-off, hammer-on stuff is just plain harder on the first game.

Now I'm rambling.

Heart shaped box is the easiest song in the game.

It's the only one I have gotten a perfect score on hard, and was like 3 notes away from being perfect on expert.

god I finally beat freya on expert. I had to get the orange-blue/yellow-green down before I could get through that section. went in with a green rock meter and came out on the bottom of the yellow side. I am never going to play that fucking song again.
