I think penalties are way down from 2006.

Anyone know of any good slider adjustment settings? The only penalty that ever gets called is the occasional false start and pass interference. I swear nearly every sack looks like a face mask.

I didn't wanna get shafted in the polls so first season I switched out App and Akron with #1 Ohio State and #2 Texas. I beat the number one team and didn't even crack the top 25. Beat Texas a week later and i squeak in at number 23

i played in the national title game my first season with the default schedule

just how the other games unfold i suppose

but you should be top 5 going into the acc title game and assuming va tech or miami is top 10, beating them should probably put you in it

I simulated the first season just for kicks and NCSU went undefeated through the regular season and was #3, GaTech was also undefeated and #2.

Doh, forgot that it was year two of the dynasty and only played GaTech in the ACC Championship. Lost 1 game in the first season.

read the defense better

send a TE or FB to the running side

try sending a WR the other way and seeing if the CBs are playing man or zone

if they're playing man, keep him...zone move other WR for extra blocker

i went undefeated in season 1 with a customized schedule that was EXTREMELY HARD. this allowed me to win the heisman with Darrell Blackman and have the #1 recruiting class in the country.

season 2 i scheduled usc, ohio state, and florida (preseason 1, 2, and 3) and beat those 3 teams to move from 9th to #1 after only 3 games. this game is extremely addictive...i LOVE the in-season recruiting...it's probably my favorite part of the game.

Prey is ubar. Aside from the fact that the puzzles in the game are repeated a bit too much, its still very enjoyable.

how do you guys do your recruiting after the season? try for all 5 stars? i try to even it out but im thinking i might just start putting all my eggs into a few baskets...

In 2004-2006 I always went after the 5-star highly interested players first and then went after 5-stars with at least some interest. It seems like each year there are less and less numbers of 5-stars. I haven't finished my first season of 2007(only had it a few days and have an exam to study for) so I'm not sure how it looks this year.

I tend to go for 5-star highly interested players. Then I look at needs and go for the top players with some interest at each of those positions(usually 4 or 5-stars). Then with what's left I go for top ranked players with at least some interest.

Sometimes 4-star Athletes can turn into 5-star quality players at certain positions(namely DE or QB).

I'm ready to see how the recruiting shapes up when I get around to finishing my season.

Even having like 5 5 stars will get you the number one class... the fun is when you start pulling 15 five stars and the rest 4/3 stars... thats quality

anyone got any good heisman sliders yet? I played my first season with the default sliders and was undefeated till I somehow lost to ECU at the end when Andre Brown fumbled twice in the 4th quarter. Looked at some online boards but havent found anything real good yet.

Also what quarter length do you have to play to get the 200 rushing yards, 350 passing etc? I'm assuming its 5, and I play 6 minute dynasty quarters so thats prob why im not getting it.

operationsports.com has alot of people trying out sliders. ive been messing with some but havent found the perfect ones yet. im not sure i know what you mean by 200 yards, etc...the only achievements i have left are the hold opponent under 200/100 total yards, return a punt, block a punt, and the 2 recruiting ones (8 5 star players and the top class)...

3 undefeated national championships in a row on All-American with the toughest schedule in the country (i add #1,2,3,4 from preseason)...i think it's time to move up to heisman.


andre brown and toney baker are a two headed monster. the weak formation with baker at FB and brown at HB is deadly. FB DIVE gets 5-15 yards on most plays and then add in HB DIVE for 5-15 yards, then hit either on swing passes in the backfield...sick, sick formation with those two.

This game definitely has a passing tendency though. Passing just seems much easier than running, and I'm in my fifth season.

Yeah I'm still on my first season and I started out slow with the running game adjusting from 06 and I just had a 190 yard game in the pouring rain against Ga. Tech so I'm starting to get the hang of it. And by hang of it I average like 3-4 yards for a while and then hit a big one or two for big yards to up my average, haha.

Did anyone else see Wake Forest's kicker? The dude is HUGE. He looked more like a DT than a K, lol.

Lowery is having a monster year so far(10 int's) and has replaced AJ Davis as one of my impact players.
