I felt like I had to use the cheat code for the Harrier Jet in San Andreas just because the board was so damn big. Even with the jet it took you a couple of minutes to get from one city to another.

I think I might have played through the entire story of San Andreas without using cheats to help me. I can't say for certain but I definitely have a thing about using codes on missions so unless I got really really stuck on one (which I can't remember but don't think I did) I didn't use cheats to beat the missions.

After the story is done though mother fuckers died.

ok im giving into they hype although not being a fan of the series. Preordering the 360 copy though, there's just too many online possibilities with it's strong MP game I want to have with Live. DLC doesn't hurt either!

This better be worth the hype...I've yet to like a GTA game really. They all control like ass but I'm keeping an open mind.

I love the way it controls. Seems very similar to Uncharted with the way he runs around, the cover system, and the over the shoulder camera for shooting. Huge improvement over previous GTA games.

And I'm not trying to dis PS3 but let's be honest - if you have both systems why would you opt out of the pretty big exclusive downloadable content, Xbox Live multiplayer implementation is far superior to Sony (this game has significant multiplayer), and achievements? Mainly the first 2 reasons, the achievements thing is not really a real legitimate one.

Again, not trying to dis Ps3. I think the PS3 will have a great year, but I always knew that this title in the platforms current state of things would be better on 360.

The Xbox live factor is pretty much moot in this game since, if you've been keeping up, online will be launched from within' the game itself (via the cellphone) and will be using an identical lobby on both consoles. Do you really think you're going to be able to feel the difference between 4 million players and 2 million players? I don't think so.

What's this about load times? The PS3 has a 5 minute mandatory install the very first time you boot up the game. If that is honestly going to be the deal breaker, I feel sorry for you. Besides that, all indications are that the two are identical visually, with Rockstar devs actually saying they prefer the look of the PS3 version.

Both versions will have the same "achievements".

Yes I get the little cell phone multiplayer thing. Who gives a shit? I'd rather have the ability to know, invite, join, chat, and most importantly organize with friends regardless what I'm doing while my XBOX is on. No more so than any other game, which is why I hardly see the relevance, since that discussion has already been done ad nauseam in other threads, and everyone is already quite familiar with it.

What is relevant is the fact that the multi player experience, you know actually launching it and playing, will be identical on both consoles, as I've already pointed out. It's been described to work exactly like Burnout Paradise if you want an example.
