i am admittedly worried about playing roma, but it sounds like totti is out of the first leg with a thigh injury, so that makes me feel a bit better. but i still have to fret over taddei relishing a chance to get back at utd for that 7-1 victory they had while he was out injured...

ronaldo is being hounded everytime he touches the ball, good gameplan against him from roma...but they still couldnt stop him from scoring in the first half. another terrific header by this "winger".

i didnt see anything wrong with the goalkeeping, the hardest shot to save there is down low like that. and it was hit hard. he was just unfortunate it went off his knee and into the goal rather than deflected away

I dunno,the rebound he let up on the first shot was shitty, he just slid into it and let an easy rebound right to the top of the box, thats pretty much the worst place you can leave it. Then he didn't really even react to the shot, he just stood straight up and didnt try to cut off the angle.

that was a world class strike. as a goalkeeper when a shot is hit that hard and that close, you dont have a lot of time to react and save it with your hands, anything at the knee or below is almost impossible to get your hand to it unless it happens to strike you in the hand

He didn't do a good job cutting down the angle... the only place Diaby could've scored the goal was near post so regardless of how hard he hit it, the angle shouldn't have been there

im not gonna argue this gk issue, i played gk, i am very critical on gks in games, there was nothing he could do about how the ball rebounded off his body, and i give more credit for the strike than reina trying to save that shot. the most tired argument is how gks shouldnt give up near post. sometimes you cant help it when a shot is hit that hard
