Obama has always been a fan of the public option, he has just said recently it's not a "deal breaker" on getting the bill passed. That's not flip-flopping.
Flip-flopping would be if he was saying he wouldn't sign the bill if it had a public option in it.
I hope you use more sense than you're showing now when you grade students' work.

You wonder why noone here takes you seriously, but I'll give you a hint: It has more to do with the fact that you are a full-on, foaming-at-the-mouth, intellectually dishonest partisan hack and less to do with the fact that you have conservative ideas.

Didn't Obama promise to come back with "a plan" for transferring detainees as a condition imposed by Congressional Democrats to fund the closure of Gitmo? Whatever happened to that, exactly?
Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for that "Blue Ribbon Commission" on Yucca Mountain to convene. You know, where we were supposed to be inviting science back to the White House, and not let petty politics trump science, etc. Seems like yet more empty promises to me.9/28/2009 2:39:13 PM |

Barack Obama under fire over trip for Chicago’s Olympic bid Barack Obama is under fire from Democrats and Republicans over his high-risk decision to fly to Copenhagen to support the Olympic bid of his home town, Chicago. 01 Oct 2009
Quote : | "The president left Washington last night amid the private misgivings of fellow Democrats that he might squander more of his diminishing political capital on a failed effort.
His hesitancy about going to Denmark – last week he said he was too busy – has also led to criticism of his decision-making while Republicans have questioned the value of the 24-hour mission with debates raging at home on the economy, health care and Afghanistan.
