the accounts of how McCain held up under torture in Vietnam are inspiring and impressive...

... but have absolutely nothing to do with making him qualified to be President and Chief Executive of the largest military and economic power in the world.

if anything, it makes one suspicious that his tendancy to violent outbursts might be due to mental impairment of some sort incurred during 5 1/2 years of torture

agent, I firmly disagee with the dems tax plan, but more of thier spending plans.

I will say they are being broad in his tax proposals. But I also think they assume, like most people, its full of shit... kinda like clintons middle class tax cuts were.

It will have a trickle down effect, and its not enough to cover his spending.

the only way for it to work would be to not tax corporations AT ALL. the only taxes we should collect should come from the citizens themselves, individually. you do this either via consumption tax or income tax (duh).

obama is not going to raise taxes on anyone making less than a hefty amount of income, that's 100% laid out, that's exactly what will happen.

republicans (i should really say neocons, because they are the ones who have hijacked your party, and people like you seem to not care since they are all gung ho about jesus and shit) may say they want to lower taxes, but they don't mean for anyone making less than a hefty amount of money. go figure. the country cannot continue like that. plain and simple.

its funny how McCain's military SERVICE TO THIS COUNTRY FOR 20+ YEARS have absolutely nothing to do with his ability, or more importantly dedication, to this country...yet of course a VP candidate's daughter's baby obviously has a huge impact on her ability to be VP

Obama is easily gonna win this election. He is a God among mortals. It's true.

The republican mere mortal candidates have no chance to stand up to him.

It's like trying spit in hitlers face and survive.

cherokee, I disagree. The lower tax brackets are currently paying LESS of a percentage than they did under clinton. Also the "rich" are paying MORE than they did.

We do, absolutely, need to lower coorporate tax rates.

i was going to vote McCain in 2000, but alas, his candidacy ended in South Carolina.

i don't think it could have been worse. maybe he woudl have acted on the intelligence and 9/11 could have been prevented.

or, maybe it would be worse. maybe he would have already nuked Iran by now.

After 8 years of Republican fuck ups, it's tough to pull the Republican trigger ... Republicans seem to have such bad judgement.

Maybe TT doesn't see the irony in the Republicans spouting change (from what, eight years of a Republican presidency?) ... let's just hope he's in the lower percentiles ...

why not making a prereq that stoners who dont vote cant talk about voting?

for real though: because we have this thing called Constitution and a thing called a civilian government.

dumbass. jesus, do you not know anything about american history?

well despite liberal talking points, John McCain is not actually George Bush...so saying something witty and empty like "McCain is 4 more years of Bush" is complete bullshit

do you think Bush has been a true conservative over the last couple years? hell no

Great Speech. McCain and Palin will win this election so it doesn't really matter who wins the online forums.
