I'm gonna be "that guy" but

I think the joint was Ryan's.

on the deleted scenes for that episode it shows the "Vance Refrigeration" guys throwing out a joint in the parking lot. That explains why Michael goes to those guys for drugs in the "Frame Toby" episode.

yeah last nights was damn excellent all around, and then it got pretty heavy at the end

I would imagine that Angela is going to tell Andy pretty soon, but if not it's gonna be a big moment

they'll might have Andy recap it in one of those asides, but I'd rather him find out when we can see it

^^ the william m. buttlicker thing was only a few episodes ago, and there was the episode earlier this season where jim keeps track of all of dwight's wasted time.

also, i don't understand how you don't like this show.

i guess i dont get it

i was expecting everyone to talk about how bad this ep was, it is getting so slapstick

i mean a scene with michael chasing meredith around a parking lot? is this reno 911 now?

also, a show focused on phyllis, meredith and angela??

Seems like they've been trying hard to develop more of the side characters this season.

Except Creed. I would very much love to see more of Creed.

i don't like michael scott. he's rarely clever and usually just loud and stupid, which isn't funny to me.

they used to have enough of the other characters to make up for it, but not so much anymore. this episode was better about it, i thought.

i wouldnt change him at all

ive always loved angela and phyllis im glad theyre getting more light this season

i hope they keep meredith as a once-in-awhile cameo, her character seems to be made to be more of a punchline, always gets a laugh out of me

I think that showing too much of Creed would spoil his character's mystery. I like him as that old guy in the background that occasionally says something weird.

But yes, Creed is awesome.

yeah, but this week may have crossed the line a bit, actually.
I'm not sure that it's really that funny to constantly make fun of an alcoholic......

They've toned down the 'full retard' a bit since the first few seasons but more often than not he still just pisses me off with his idiocy

the other characters have kept the show alive for me, but I'm still watching now more out of a sense of duty since the first 2.5 seasons or so

that's really the only funny part about him, that they made him this character who is an idiot but surprisingly competent.

the toby dynamic is funny at times as well, but someone saying stuff that's just plain stupid isn't funny. it's just stupid.

are amy poehler or aziz ansari supposed to make appearances to setup the spinoff, or is the show completely unrelated to the office (except for writers/tone)?

also, the "spinoff" probably won't have any connection to the office:

i thought last night's episode was very funny, especially at the beginning when michael was trying to tell andy, and jim pushed him into his office. everything except the little mini-scene at the end. i've come to expect more from those.
