This is very difficult. Games that seem like they should be a lock are seem to roll the other way well over half the time. I would almost say if any game is 80/20 or higher, you're better off with the 20% team.

I know virtually nothing about any of these sports except golf and baseball, but jeez. How does a WNBA team that is 17-4 lose to one that is well under .500? And Iowa beat Missouri in the LLWS 16-0, yet they are playing today and it's tied 6-6. I remember when I was in Little League, if we lost to a team that bad it was a fairly good indicator that we were just overmatched, and there was no way we were beating them that game or subsequent games.

There is a LLWS game tonight at 9:00 pm where Washington is favored to win by 9.5 runs over Oregon, which is an absoluely huge margin. They have rolled through the LLWS thus far, winning 4 games by a combined score of 50-2, including a 10-0 drubbing of Oregon. I know it is Little League and there is no such thing as a lock, but this is about as close as you can get I think.

if it's soccer, pick the home team regardless of what everyone else is doing.

tennis, be prepared to wait all day due to weather, and the early rounds get major delays and upsets so they can be crapshoots.

baseball, look at who's pitching because a lot of people (like me recently )just pick based on records of the teams.

women's anything, just don't pick it. You never know what the fuck is actually going to happen.




It'll be interesting to see how college football goes with this. I really wish they'd get one of those days where you can get like 20 picks.
