it reminded me why i quit racing them

that track sucked. wasn't prepped worth a damn. muddy. single narrow groove. they didn't start practice until 7 pm (they claim the track dries out and comes up in chunks if they start before the sun sets), so they didn't finish racing until about 3:30 am. we left around 1:45. folks wanting to fight about every little bump. they paid $1000 to win the stock medium class. had 42 entries iirc.

saw a good friend of mine from back home who i used to race against and spoke to him. karts have gotten pretty ridiculous. i could go racing with a 4 cyl round track car or a pretty decent drag car for a lot cheaper.

i don't think i'll be going back to that particular track.

there weren't many kids there for the plate classes and junior stock class b/c it was a money race night and they don't pay them the big money

the racing was kinda meh tonight

the 75 lap late model race was pretty good. the finish was very close and most folks agreed that the scorers gave the win to the wrong guy. a lot of pissed off folks.

they had the mini trucks or whatever they're called. the 4 cylinder truck class. they only had 4 to start and one of them dropped out. two yotas up front and a nissan extended cab ran 3rd lol
