Someone asked how will she approach the issue of a coach having to play both UNC and Duke and be in their close vicinity, and how would she sell that pitch to a coach who asked about it. Or something along those lines...

She said that she would thank the coach for his very limited appeal and quickly move on with her search, and that the coach she would hire would relish the opportunity to play UNC and Duke.

sports contracts in general, whether it be coaches, or pro players, are generally something i dont like to scrutinize, im not too interested with the minutia

im sure others are the same way

i look at general things like guaranteed money, signing bonus, performance based incentives, etc, but often times newspaper articles simplify even further

After dealing with Fowler for so many years, I never thought we'd have an AD that I honestly thought could land the right coach to return NC State basketball back to being one of the top programs in the ACC and nationally. After listening to the press conference I finally have a good feeling that Yow will do this. It's good to finally have some competent people at the top of the operations of NC State both athletically and academically in Yow and Woodson.

Is there anyone who doesn't LOVE having Yow as our AD? She gained even more respect from me with that top notch press conference. And the part about looking at coaches in the tournament made me feel better about no quick decision being made.

Didn't GT say they would have a coach by the Final Four? Wouldn't that be like saying, "We don't even want to look at the coaches that make it that far in the NCAAs" ?
