Yeah, Tevez needs to not be captain. Hes been there for a year, he doesnt speak english very well, and he's made it clear that while he will see his contract out, he doesnt want to be in england any longer than he has to. You'd imagine someone like Given (well, before), Barry, errrr someone else would get it. I dont know who really, they're all schmucks.

I was seriously bummed that the Spurs couldnt sneak out a goal in there. Theyre definitely a good enough team for the top 4, in theory, but Im just not sure that anyone besides Defoe has enough week-in-week-out quality at striker for them. Keane is a huge whining bitch, Peter is a one trick pony who is decent but wont keep you in the top 4, and Pav is too streaky. I just see them dropping too many points against mid-table teams when Defoe is hurt / out of form. I love the midfield (niko, luka, tom, wilson, lennon, bale, etc) and the defense is pretty underrated. BAE had a great game today, dawson is limited but effective, and king/bassong/kaboul are good enough. Charlie / Corluka is OK. Kyle Walker is a beast in training.

Looking forward to the liverpool game tomorrow. If they get hosed I can see the renewed revolution taking a decent hit. They're my team, and I want the best for them, but No'Goals starting ~15 games a year isnt going to cut it. Kuyt, Babel, and Jovanovic arent through and through strikers necessarily. Hoping that Mascherano is bought from the Balotelli funds so that Roy can reinvest in a striker and left back.

I'd also like to see Remy get bought, so I can stop hearing about all the transfer rumors, with every team ever.

I don't know if it is the slow motion on the replay or what, but that Cole tackle should have been a yellow after watching it a few times. It was reckless of him to go in like that given the halftime whistle was about to blow and he was all the way in the corner too.
