the US would have been better off kicking every ball right down the middle. that keeper was going to dive in the direction that the players took their last PK at no matter what.

^^^ I hate to say "play of the game" due to the nature but yes as I said when it happened, it was great from a tactical point of view and I think it saved the game for them. It probably was better than the two weak goals they scored though haha.

Not really. She had some shitty balls, but overall played above average (I think she got one of the higher grades in ESPN's post game wrap-up). She's always creating, which means sometimes she plays some bad balls, but she's always trying to push something. And her long ball to Morgan was a thing of beauty.

Hopefully she'll still be going strong for the next World Cup (I think she'll be 30). She was one of the more entertaining players to watch during the tournament.

Just gotta teach Alex Morgan how to dribble, get some good defenders and we'll be fine. As long as Racheal Buehler is off the team it will be addition by subtraction. We would've beat Brazil and Japan with ease if she wasn't on the team. Look at the France game.
