He's probably a decent guy. He just made a couple of errors.

1. Added a lot of people on Google+ (Honest mistake for a guy who promotes himself as a social network entrepreneur)
2. Started feeding the trolls once he saw there was a thread about him (Horrible error in judgement)

For a guy who 'uses the internet' as a business, he doesn't know a lot about the people who use it.

I had a small conversation with him and he seemed like a decent guy, I think he was just shocked that something like this could happen. I don't think his expertise in the internet extended to forum banter. But yes, him giving qntmfred a threatening ultimatum was a poor way of dealing with it.
